Clear Creek 2016

Clear Creek camping trip was much more relax with close friends around the bonfire, do some off grid hiking and just enjoy our time together. The first afternoon everyone all came in at different times and we had a fantastic potluck dinner. We woke up, cooked breakfast and began the days adventures. We took an off road trail to Bull Pen trail head in a remote area of Camp Verde. We hiked along the West Clear Creek for a beautiful out and back. We some mountain sheep skirting along the cliffs to our side for some of the hike. We came across a man made shelter of some sort with a sign that read "Welcome to Add, Don't Take." We decided this would be a good spot to take a short lunch break. Finishing our hike early in the afternoon we decided to just head back to camp and relax. The following dinner was an absolute feast among the gods. We all put together different meats, vegetables and desserts to create a camping meal that looks like we were at Ruth Chris's. A great weekend getaway with even better friends.
