Zion National Park 2015

Zion National Park was absolutely stunning. We got in late at night. The first day we were able to get permits for the Subway hike. We wanted to go from the top down but unfortunately most of the anchors where under water so we ended up going from the bottom. Ice cold water chest deep made for a bone chilling experience. After we exited the Subway we made our way to the Narrows for the second part of the day. The night was filled with joy and laughter as we had a fairly large group of people with the outdoors club. Our second day we hiked Angels Landing first thing in the morning. Views served with beer made for the ultimate brunch spot. Hanging to the chains as we descended the climb, keeping on edge the entire time. Lastly we finished our second day with a hike through Hidden Canyon which was filled with all sorts of treasures. To add to the trip we took a detour through Oak Creek Canyon for a short but very worth the time. With Fall colors in full swing this pit stop added just the right amount of vibrance to the end of the drive.
