Saguaro Man 2016, my first burn. The months leading up to this trip had my so anxious and excited. I rolled up to the gate, got my ticket and rolled around in the dirt and rang the bell, I was finally Home. There are so many memories, new friends and way of life that I discovered out at Double Dolphin Ranch. Pretty simply, for those who don't know much about the burn community, it is a gathering of participants, artists, creators, makers and like minded people to enjoy life. There is much learning and self growth, interactive art and people who truly care about the bigger picture. I feel like I grew a lot this weekend and have a new found view on society and the way we interact with each other. Overall I can't wait till my next burn and am glad I found the burning community. Being a Burner means a lot to me in ways I can't explain. Although these pictures were shot on my point and shoot and not the highest quality, I still want to share this wonderful experience with my fellow humans.
